The Proclamation of London of The European Liberation Front

$300.00

By Francis Parker Yockey

A note from the Publisher, Willis A. Carto:

Occasionally we try to sell books and other items that have a substantial value because they are rare first editions, were autographed, or have other historical significance. When you buy these items you are also contributing to our work and I truly appreciate that.

Condition: Used, connected to Yockey

This is truly a classic publication and we are offering a copy of the original – and probably the only – edition. This copy is well read as you can see on the image; the red cover has some damage around the edges. A personal stamp of N.B. Holt is visible on the cover, immediately above the title: “N. B. HOLT—28 Lower Crescent, Sausalito, California.” Mr. Holt was a confederate of Mr. and Mrs. Weiss and Mr. and Mrs. Carto as well. Mr. Weiss was also a close associate of the Yockey family and most likely received the booklet from them. Mr. Carto will dedicate and sign this extraordinary piece of postwar publication to the buyer. The booklet will be shipped free and insured.

Three short years after the end of WWII (1948) a small Pan-Europeanist group broke away from Oswald Mosley’s British Union Movement in the UK. They organized under the name of The European Liberation Front (ELF) with the leadership and intellectual guidance of Francis Parker Yockey. In 1949 the group issued Yockey’s manifesto: THE PROCLAMATION OF LONDON of the EUROPEAN LIBERATION FRONT. The manifesto called for no less than to free and organize Europe from both the Soviet Bolshevik and the Wall Street, American influence and the creation of "mono-ethnic racial homelands" to preserve the "race, culture and traditions of all European peoples."

Although the original publication must have been printed in a very small number the principles and ideas laid down by Yockey have influenced a wide variety of right wing groups in Europe and the U.S. as well. For example a second Manifesto of the European Liberation Front was admittedly published following the ideas of Yockey by Troy Southgate. Another in Paris in 1999. Other European activists, writers were already following in the footsteps of Yockey like Jean-François Thiriart and Alain de Benoist in the 1960’s.

This was clearly a revolutionary document and the following quote can testify to that fact:

Thus, the Liberation Front now states to Europe ist two great tasks: (1) the complete expulsion of everything alien from the soul and from the soil of Europe, the cleansing of the European soul of the dross of 19th century materialism and rationalism with ist money-worship, liberal-democracy, social degeneration, parliamentarism, class-war, feminism, vertical nationalism, finance-capitalism, petty-statism, chauvinism, the Bolshevism of Moscow and Washington, the ethical syphilis of Hollywood, and the spiritual leprosy of New York; (2) the construction of the Imperium of Europe and the actualizing of the divinely-emanated European will to unlimited political Imperialism.

Mr. Carto is selling the book now to support TBR operations. Please consider this purchase as a contribution to TBR.
